Stop Press!
My latest book is out. Stories for Young Children and How to Tell Them! is for anyone who wants to tell stories to children up to about 8 years of age. Buy the book from my website (see My Publications) and you can get it for my special price of £16.99 and free postage and packing instead of £19.99. It’s got stories, rhymes, chants, imagination games – and great colour illustrations. It’s also got my CD tucked inside. That’s with me telling all the stories and chants in the book with magical accompaniments by children’s musician Bill Roberts.
But please note that you probably shouldn’t be getting the book if you’ve already got Cooking Up a Story and Talking Up a Story. The new book is a reissue of these, this time in one package.
Now I’m off to Trafford to give a keynote speech at an ECAT launch (that’s Every Child a Talker) and then a couple of workshops for Early Years practitioners. I’m really looking forward to the work: Manchester people are so warm and welcoming. And I’m thinking it’s a good job I wasn’t planning to fly!

Nikole, your comment and question must have escaped my attention when they came in. (And I’ve just replied to your subsequent comment – for which many thanks.) The answer to your question about my book, How to tell Stories to Young Children, is that it is available on Amazon in the UK. I can’t think why you can’t find it on Amazon in the US.
